August 2022 Pity Party (a few days late)

Cry then, cry now, cry later. Whatever, I'm writing a book.

I’m writing a book. Looking back on all of my writing education, I don’t think I ever included myself in the category of “book writer” or anything like that. In middle school, I watched my classmates string out a plot in a short story so cleverly and delicately. I didn’t get that. Why not just get right to the point? I feel like I was able to get my writing style down during my senior year of high school and truly nail it down even more during my junior year in college. I just never thought it was meant for a book.
